Deep in the bowels of Punt Road around November 2016, scientists recently appointed by the RFC named Dr Caracella and Dr Leppitch began to help a confused Professor Hardwick. They cunningly combined two ingredients that had been rarely seen down at the club. Under the watchful eye of Chancellor Neil Balme, they thought they may have come up with a cure to one of the most difficult conditions to treat ever seen to mankind. That condition was Tigeritis.
To be published in the New England Journal of Football, they found that by combining belieficillin and an extreme form of pressuricin they were had an initial cure rate of 15 out of 22 or 68%. After they tinkered with the formula by pumping up both ingredients, they treated the sickest 3 and cured 100% of them.
Now they may be nominated for a Nobel Prize.
Tigeritis is no more.
