I honestly think that's a shame about Batchelor. Clearly not best 22 but was great in the magoos and couldn't have done anything else. I thought he was handy coverage for an injury to a few in our back line given his versatility. It's not like we've got defenders lining up out the door.
Unfortunately for him we do. Cannot play as a KPP in the seniors and as a third up we have Markov, Menadue and Short ahead of him. Nice guy though.

I don't think of those guys as defenders at all in the sense that Batchelor is. He's a medium sized defender/stopper, those others are just flankers. Maybe we're confident of a target in the draft.

On another note, just saw the Hawks cut Hartung. Has pace to burn. Didn't watch enough of their games this season to see what happened but I thought they had big wraps on him only a season or two ago.

SNIP  :banghead :banghead

Fair dinkum how many times do we have to repeat it

Do not any way shape or form post anything that implies either directly or indirectly anything to do with the photo saga

Simple I would have thought

So seeing people don't seem to get it and are struggling with it

the next person who does will be suspended under the 3 strikes policy

Clear enough for everyone this time  :banghead :banghead
I am confused, so under three strikes, I can say that wassis name is the boob shot offender twice before I get a paddling or have these bastards already used up my chances?  If so, I am extremely disturbed that someone else can use up my strikes because Ox will get us all suspended in one post.

What if we self report? Does that count as a strike?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I honestly think that's a shame about Batchelor.

I agree, but probably a sign that the Tigers are very comfortable with the current gameplan. Just can't see how he could fit in to the team playing the way we did this season without a shocking injury toll decimating our backline.

I hoped we'd keep him, but I figure there are too many ahead of him now.

Hartung makes Ellis and Houli look like tough guy enforcers.....

These latest delistings leaves Miles, Townsend and (according to the AFL website) Drummond as uncontracted Tigers.

Thought Drummond signed another one-year extension earlier this year?

..or was this never actually confirmed?

Weird, I'm sure neither of them were the girl in the photo but I can't be too sure of that...

Is that supposed to be funny? A bit of sarcastic wit perhaps?

We made it very clear that no one was to under any circumstances make reference to who the player was

Someone posted a reference in this thread and it's been deleted. So clearly there are folks on here that simply dont get it

 :banghead :banghead

Didn't see the post, don't care what it said, but surely even you can understand (not necessarily enjoy) some obvious light hearted humour to the fact you made another snip related to it. I didn't make any references to which player is involved nor did I criticise your snip (like I said, I didn't even see the post). No need to get those frilly panties in a knot

Ex-Tiger Jake Batchelor is a target for the Dollies [Frankston]. Would be a super pick-up.

If he is not picked up another AFL club I would have thought multiple VFL clubs would be chasing his signature.

I always thought Ben Lennon wasn't given much of a go, number 7 draft pick wasn't he?

YEp that's why Frankston are chasing hard, would be a massive coup for them for the first season back

I hope he is but I'd be surprised if he gets another AFL gig
