Richmond memberships 2018: 90,000 members achievable says Trent Cotchin

RICHMOND skipper Trent Cotchin believes his club’s “bold goal” of 90,000 members is achievable as the hungry Tigers prepare to embark on their 2018 campaign.

On the back of the club’s drought-breaking 2017 flag, chief executive Brendon Gale has declared there is “no reason” why Richmond shouldn’t aim to be the first AFL club to 90,000 members

A week out from the club’s Round 1 clash against Carlton, more than 82,000 members have already signed up.

But Cotchin, the 2018 Australian Grand Prix AFL ambassador, said there was still plenty of time for the Tiger Army to expand.

“I think our numbers are really good with membership,” Cotchin told foxfooty.com.au.

“It was a bold goal, but certainly achievable.

“We just need everyone to jump on board and for the Tiger members to come to as many games as possible because we love hearing them cheer.

“The finals series last year was a great example of how much support we have and how much they can impact games.”

No, you aren't wrong, but it gives me a strange satisfaction to know that these figures mean so much to Hawthorn and we are beating them blind.

We sold almost 11k more from this time last year until end of season. If we are flying by Round 5 we will be 90k then and aiming for 100k
