You have to laugh at the morons, some of it is total rubbish you gotta wonder about some of the people in this world.(well not so much the Collingwood one's)

I could be wrong here, but I had an old clipping from the Herald Sun from 1980, that said that in that year, we were the first club to attract 1,000,000 people to our games in the regular season (ie. No finals).

It was a million including finals in 1980. You couldn't attract that many in the H/A season alone back then due to most clubs were still playing at their old smaller suburban grounds.

We've cracked the million mark in the regular season alone in 1998, 2013, 2015 & 2017. This year will be the 5th time we will do it.

IIRC, in 1980 we were the first club to average 50k to our home games across the H/A season  .
