Will be another Rance..... that also kicks goals, has Richo-like cameos on the wing and occasionally rucks... :shh

I reckon the leap, spoil and knee to JK’s head was even more amazing. JK’s 196cms and he flew into his head knee high.
Unbelievable leap on the kid
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I'd like to see Noah thrown into the forward line during the finals!  Just a 10 minute stint here & there, not a permanent move.  Start him down back with a job to do in the first half, then somewhere in the 3rd run him forward in a shock move!  Get our foot on the oppositions throat & then Noah can kill them off!   :clapping

Jimmy Jess started it, Noah can take it over!

Was actually thinking this myself lately. His hands have been very clean this last month or so.

If Astbury gets back and either Jack or Tom goes down...

Getting McCartin would help us do that... :shh

One of our best again despite the ordinary team performance. Only conceded one goal and that was due to a nonsense free.

Balta gets the points over Hawkins

Noah Balta has been one of the most improved players in the competition this year, quickly rising into a key defensive weapon for the Tigers. But his biggest test of the season came on Friday as he took on the AFL's best key forward of 2020 – Geelong star Tom Hawkins. The battle between young and old, athletic and powerful, had its moments: Hawkins took a couple of strong marks, and Balta had some attacking runs. But what mattered most is that Hawkins could manage only one goal, which came in the last quarter. Another tick for Balta.

How do we know he isn’t going to be one of the best forward in the league?

We won’t know unless we see what he can do.

If Astbury is in and we want to try something different before finals let’s put Balta up forward for the Adelaide game.
The club that keeps giving.
