The more this bloke plays the more I’m losing hope in his ability.

I leaning toward him not being the defender we were hoping.

Just not smart enough and gets too many goal kicked by his direct opponent.

He is becoming the guy that brings forwards back into form.

Petty kicks a bag. Now king and it’s not even half time.  :help

and he continues to do the mindboggling unthinkable mistakes over and over again.

Noah is the most obvious confidence player I can recall.

Chatting to a few around us today. Be interesting what team would pay overs for Balta. If I'm GWS I'd consider giving us back out pick and maybe their other first rounder for him. I might be dreaming but he's worth more than just a first rounder.

I think we could replace Balta with less. I mean Young for a start cost us nothing and looks to have walked into our best 22.

If we want to rebuild and get into the draft we have to lose some quality.

I’m starting to not be too opposed to the idea. Losing balta and Bolton would give us a good draft hand

Think this offseason will be one of the most important list managing moment for us since 2016. Arguably more so as we had a solid nucleus and just needed some retirements and trades to occur.

You could make the call on 10 regular players this year that shouldn't be part of the next phase for us

Would look at a trade for sure.

Everyone is on the table.

Some players really get into this guy's head and beat him mentally.

Needs to do some work with Emma Murray over the off season.

Not tradeable for me.

The lack of pressure in the midfield is laughable
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Balta literally has a pea for a brain. As stupid as anyone can be. Just a typical stupid f

Derm spot on here re Balta.

How long do you keep excusing the brain fades before you realize maybe that’s just how he’s wired.

Always said he's a defender but maybe we should move him forward again - at least his stuff ups won't be as immediately costly. :shh

I can't find the vision online yet, but David King on First Crack last night got stuck into Balta for playing 20m+ off Max King and getting lost in no man's land.

Whether or not the comparisons to Rance were warranted - can't help but wonder how Rance would've gone playing under the 666 rule. :shh
