In the 2017 finals which team was the Tigers best competition

So most of us have probably watched the finals games a fair few times and I was wondering who people think was the most competitive side we faced in the finals series

GWS for me.

Think we still would have won it, but losing Shiel certainly hampered them.

And I was most nervous of defeat when we played GWS. During that last qtr when we were four goals up but not finishing them off, I was pretty damn nervous.

Yeah, GWS.  Best opponent out of a sorry lot.  Adelaide were just ok for a half until we mowed them down & Geelong were just road kill going under the wheels ...

GWS they were the only side that managed to play some part of the game on their terms(2nd qtr) - although in all fairness I think it was also due to us being slightly rusty given we had had a few weeks off given the two byes. Once we got motoring after halftime they were cactus.

Both Geelong and Adelaide were lucky to get within 50 points - both games were 15 goal margin type dominance

GWS took the longest to kill but in the end all 3 were bent over and given the Marcellus Wallace treatment .

A tough question when we won all three finals by 6-8 goals.

Scoreboard wise it was Geelong, who were lucky to be so close at half-time but were the only ones still in the game on the scoreboard at 3/4 time. We blew them away in the last.

In terms of quarters & general play it was GWS. Geelong (3rd qtr) & Adelaide (1st qtr) had one decent quarter against us. GWS on the other hand played well for the whole first half.

They were all good, the best game we played I must say was against Geelong who have had the wood on us for so long.

When we won that first final that gave everyone belief.

Plus from my own greedy point of view it was sooooooo bloody satisfying.
