Richmond firms for 2018 premiership after $50,000 bet

RICHMOND has firmed for the 2018 premiership after one punter outlaid $50,000.

The TAB accepted a $25,000 bet at $8 on the reigning premiers before trimming their price to $7.

Another $25,000 was placed at the new quote by the same punter, who stands to collect $375,000 should the Tigers go back-to-back.

Last year the Tigers opened the home-and-away season at $67 before breaking their 37-year flag drought.

Adelaide, last year’s beaten grand finalist, remains equal favourite with Sydney at $6.
