The strong culture that has developed among Richmond’s playing group should ensure the Tigers remain well and truly grounded in their quest for sustained success, according to premiership forward Josh Caddy.

“That’s the challenge for us, it’s to remain humble and have the attitude of being the hunter, which we have,” Caddy said on ‘RSN’.

“We’re on a hunt for that next premiership and we will be every year.

“That’s what successful clubs do . . . Hawthorn over a sustained period, Geelong, Sydney . . . they remain humble. They never got ahead of themselves over the last 10-15 years, those clubs.

“So that’s what we’re aiming to do.

“It is a challenge, and you can go either way, but with the people we’ve got involved, and good leadership – ‘Dimma’ (coach Damien Hardwick), ‘Cotch’ (captain Trent Cotchin) and guys like (Alex) Rance and Jack (Riewoldt) – I’m pretty confident those sort of blokes won’t let that thing happen.”
