Richmond’s four emergencies for the Round 2 clash with the Crows are Anthony Miles, Sam Lloyd, Jack Higgins and Ivan Soldo.

Ch 9 news just said Higgins will make his debut. So they've either got it wrong as he is an emergency or there'll be a late change? :huh3.

Ch 7 news said Houli did a run in Adelaide today.

Higgins probably just emergency to get experience travelling with the team. We've done this with most, if not all of our new guys over the past few years.

Omitted? Wtf? I woulda thought a bloke who was one of our best during the finals last year deserved a little more leverage than that!?

Edit: Cancel the dummy spit. "Injured" officially.

I think we have made a blue not taking in another tall here. Jacobs will not be so ineffective this time around, and that will put Nank under huge pressure. I get it that Grigg did admirably in the GF last year, but I think this early in the season we should have chucked in some more ruck support.

You are forgetting our second ruckman Shai Bolton, he competes better than Grigg in there

The third quarter, the premiership quarter, it's Dusty time. He starts to shine and then delivers in the most AWESOME fashion.

I'm presuming Short (who played Houli's role last week) will move across into Floss' role?

One of the many reasons I thought we lost in this fixture last year is that we wernt matched up well in defence. I remember on occasions their forwards not even needing to jump to grab their marks inside 50. By the grand final we had brought in broad and moved vlastuin back to defence and matched up really well. Think I would have brought in garthwaite for this one. Hopefully it doesn’t matter.

Well once again plenty of reasons why we lost but again thought we didn’t match up well in defence, seemed like every time it went in there in the first half Adelaide would take a mark or win a free. Obviously didn’t help that rance had a shocker in the first.
