Anyone see Tuesday night as a danger game?
« on: April 22, 2018, 08:06:12 AM »
On paper, it’s a 100% watch out.
Hogan has a great record on Rance
Their pace matches ours on paper
They’ve actually had the wood on us these past few years

On the flip, I loved our pressure against the Lions, coupled with our run for 3 and a bit quarters v the Hawks see this combination as being too good for their best
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Not too worried. Our game is so much better than it was 12 months ago. Just come to play and we should be good

Yep it is a danger game; They always lift for us and the pressure is pn us becaue they have been so bad.

True. It's a season defining game for the Dees tho. Lost on Tuesday night and they are well are truly staring down the barrel of a failed year.
Conversely, if we win, it's a great indicator of our credentials as a player in this season's comp

Definitely a danger game. The Demons have been criticised all week for being mentally soft. Expect a very physical approach by the Demons.

We'll be hard to play against.  Pressure will be enormous.  Good luck to them if they can beat us .

I thought Melbourne were deplorable against the Hawks.

Then I watched the Hawks in their first qtr against the Roos.

No idea what to make of anyone's form at the moment.

To be fair they were 2 rotations down for essentially 3 quarters.

It's been a round of mostly upsets or near-upsets so far. The start is going to be important as the Dees will be all revved up because they were poor last week and they always treat us as their Grand Final ::). In the ressies today they jumped out of the blocks.

Still cannot see how you can get all fired up before this game with all the pre game ANZAC stuff on
