Brawl between Richmond, West Coast supporters erupts at Optus Stadium

Footage has emerged of a heated brawl between opposing supporters during West Coast’s stunning 47-point win over Richmond at Optus Stadium on Sunday.

The vision shows a disgruntled Tigers fan involved in a push-and-shove with several home spectators in the grandstands.

The man, wearing a Richmond polo shirt and glasses, then pulls the younger man in a white shirt out of his seat and onto the row below, spilling his beer.

A few punches were also thrown, but nobody was seriously hurt.

It wasn’t long before the visiting fan was escorted out of the stadium by security, much to the delighted of the packed crowd who cheered loudly.

This level of reporting is exactly why the Donald Trump's of this world deride fake news.

How does the journo know the fan was disgruntled? Did he ask him? Was he there to see this first hand?

No. So stop with the embellishment of the story for dramatic effect and report exactly what happened.

The interesting thing is that in the footage, while I am prepared to accept the guy in the black shirt probably was a Tigers supporter, I see no evidence that the person he was having the altercation with was a West Coast fan. That is pure assumption.

Yes exactly. Dog act. That guy looked like he was just wanting to bash someone and wasn’t actually involved at all in the original altercation. It’s not tough landing punches (and he swung more than once) when the bloke is either not looking or is being held and can’t defend himself.
 I’m not saying the original bloke wasn’t in the wrong for fighting but we don’t know the reason why he was so peeed off. Maybe the bloke in white said something that about his Mrs. who knows, but he was ticked off for a reason and grabbed the white t-shirt bloke because of it.

That other bloke (in black) was just a wanker and your absolutely right, a bloody coward dog.
