Is Dustin Martin and Ralph Carr’s relationship being damaged?

Is Ralph Carr’s legal battle damaging his relationship with Richmond superstar, and his client, Dustin Martin?

The Herald Sun’s Sam Edmund has explained the issues Carr has on his hands, while saying the whispers are suggesting it may be having an influence on the 2017 Brownlow Medallist.

“Dustin Martin’s manager, celebrity agent Ralph Carr, is locked in a legal battle with a tour promoter over claims of unpaid bills, including an alleged $11,000 debt over Martin’s tell-all show last December,” he told SEN Breakfast.

“The Herald Sun reported the papers are filed to the federal court. Big Deal Touring claims its owed $120,000 by Carr’s company, RCM Touring.

“Just some dots here, I’m not linking them in any way, shape or form, Richmond have confirmed Neil Balme recently flew to New Zealand to meet with Shane Martin, they said that was par for the course, that’s what they do with all the parents of players.

“Martin is not playing well, either, down on last year’s form, so just a few whispers around the traps that maybe life might not be as rosy as what it was last year between player and manager.

“It’s been disputed, but that’s what the jungle drums are beating at this point in time.”

No point getting fired up over nothing articles.

The football community like to see us fail in general, but most especially when we're about the best in the comp.

Journos do have strict guidelines for what they can and cant say, but they're clever at finding the limits. Crap like this is intended to be provocative, nothing more. Just a larf 😉
