saw a bit of the awesome Tigers tonight, some very slick stuff.  Floss will be taking a break though ...and he was flying in the first half..spewing.

How many you reckon ?

2 or 3 you would think ?

Final Score

Richmond   6.1    7.2   11.5    14.9-93
Sydney      3.1    5.1    10.1    11.1-67

Goals: Riewoldt 3, Lambert 3, Butler 2, Short 2, Caddy, Rioli, Vlastuin, Edwards.

23 scoring shots to just 12. Their accuracy kept them in it and made the result on the scoreboard closer than what it was in general play.

We're living in special times. This Tiger side is a bloody good football team  :clapping.

There were so many lumps of poo by the umps tonight. Most games the umps are 3 or 4 out of 5 but this one was a 2 even 1.5 out of 5.

Dunno, he has been fined twice, if they get him for rough conduct again it's an auto couple I think isn't it?

Good win against quality opposition on a ground we don't usually play well on.

Ray was pathetic tonight. Buddy should not have kicked more than 1 goal. The 2 frees Buddy got from push in the back were horrendous and what about Rance being blocked off the ball allowing Buddy to kick it from 50 on the boundary....shocking. Rance should have received a free for a block  :banghead

It's not about you Ray and glad big Brown called you out on Fox Footy after the game :clapping

Only a week for Flossy. Great win, no one can match our intensity but there might be a couple who are more efficient.  We were a 7-8 goal better side but our "brand" can cost us goals.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

The Richmond response
Amid the disappointment of a horror moment involving Reece Conca came a touching and enduring image. As the 100-game Tiger was stretchered from the field in the first quarter after suffering a sickening ankle injury, the entire Richmond team swamped the medical cart that was required to take Conca from the field. And the Richmond response to Conca's injury was just as inspiring. The Tigers kicked the final five goals to end the first term, in a burst that proved critical in deciding the outcome of the match. That buffer was crucial as the Swans challenged the hosts late, with the Tigers holding on for a deserved 26-point victory.

Richmond at Etihad Stadium
It's not often Thursday night footy finds its way to Melbourne. It's just as rare that Richmond journeys out to Etihad Stadium. But the new surroundings didn't seem to faze the Tigers, who were making just their second appearance at Docklands for the season. Although it was their home game, it almost seemed like the location favoured the Swans. John Longmire's side went into the clash having won 14 of their last 15 games at Etihad Stadium, unbeaten on the road all season. However, Richmond showed no ill-effects playing away from the MCG, running out strong winners in another show of character from the minor [sic] premiers.
