That includes pat obviously, Terry seems to have him earmarked for a starting spot. I myself would rather see him earn it first. I have severe doubts about him, how many games does he get to prove himself if he starts round 1. I would say 2 strikes your'e out until you prove yourself.

Lets hope he can turn it around and show his potential, and remember that that word has been used too much by us in the past  :cheers

First 18 pretty much the same as Bully. Hyde in the side though.

Apparently Thursty played well yesterday for Coburg so he and Chubba would be vying for that 3rd defender spot.

I knew i would miss someone MT, i couldnt leave Hyde out of the team.

I think that Thirsty will start in the two's as he has had a injury interupted pre-season.

I don't think Chaffey is an option for round 1 as he hasn't played enough footy pre-season actually I don't think he's played at all  :help ;D. He'll come back through the Burgers.

Agree Bully and although he was good yesterday for the Burgers I don't think he did enough to be promoted. Did seem to run out of a bit of petrol near the end of the game

I'd have Lids on the wing, hyde on the bench and P. Bowden in the starting 18 on a HFF

I reckon this year is going to be a development year for Thursty, will probably get a few chances, next year is his year  :thumbsup

Our back up backmen in Hall and Thursty are underdone. A bit of a problem if Gas doesn't come up for round 1 from his calf injury. We'd have to get by on Schulz, Chubba and Joel.

If Schulz can stay injury free and play at CHB, Thursfield is likely to be pushed out with Raines coming in this year. IMO, until Chubba retires, Thursfield is likely to remain in development
