SuperFooty looks at the AFL listed players who will be running around in the VFL this weekendEDITOR ON DUTY:

September 1, 2018 9:00amRICHMOND small forward Dan Butler will make his return from a near two-month injury lay-off through the VFL as he pushes for a qualifying final return.
Butler played the first 15 games of the season, but has not featured since Richmond’s Round 16 win over Adelaide in early July when he aggravated an ankle injury he had been carrying.
The premiership player will make his comeback through the state league when Richmond meets Williamstown in a qualifying final under lights at Punt Road.
Richmond football manager Neil Balme said this week it would be unlikely Butler would face Hawthorn on Thursday night due to the five-day turnaround.
VFL coach Craig McRae said Butler, 22, would be on restricted minutes and the Tigers’ match committee would monitor his form against the Seagulls.
“I suppose probably three or four weeks ago you would have questioned whether he was going to be able to get up at all and return for the rest of the year,” McRae said.
“Just watching him train this week, he’s moving really well so the signs are good.
“At this stage you can only go on what you see.
“In his training form this week, he looks like he’s running without any restriction and changing direction really well.”
Butler had kicked 18 goals for the season and averaged three tackles and five score involvements before his injury setback to become an important player in Richmond’s quest for back-to-back flags.
RICHMOND V WILLIAMSTOWN
Saturday, 7.10pm, Punt Rd Oval
All eyes will be on Tigers premiership forward Dan Butler, who is set to make his return after being sidelined since Round 16 with an ankle injury. He will play limited game time, with Richmond mindful there is only five days between the VFL clash and Thursday night’s AFL qualifying final with Hawthorn. Kane Lambert (ankle) will not be risked but the club will not hesitate to bring him straight back in against the Hawks. Sam Lloyd, who has played seven AFL games this season, responded from being dropped to the VFL with 33 disposals and two goals last weekend and will again push his case for a finals recall. Other AFL-listed players who will be looking to do the same include Liam Baker, Corey Ellis and Connor Menadue.
