It's odd that Butler isn't playing today unless he's still too underdone or his injury has flared up again.

Unless our VFL side wins today and Butler plays a full game of VFL next week then it's hard to see him playing seniors again this year.

no intel but he looked like he was limping during the game last week & Dimma said they would be resting him so not sure why the surprise at him not playing

Ellis/Lloyd are the only 2 I could see getting into our senior side (others are chance if there's injuries I guess) but it'd only be one of them IMO. Butler has missed a bit too much footy I reckon but hopefully we win today and he gets a full game next week.

I agree, but he is clearly seen as being a key to the side. I just hope our coaches resist the urge to play him in the grandfinal if he isn't right.
