Only thing to hang out hat on is we couldn't play much worse and 44 pts was the margin at half-time of the 1970 GF from which Collingwood choked from  .

I can't see it happening and it's more likely game over  but it's going to take an effort of 1973 proportions to comeback from here.

They need to apply some pressure for a start, or the margin will double

First 10 mins is the key. If you were Collingwood you'd be trying to end it for good straight after half-time with a couple of quick goals. However, if we can get the first two then let's see what happens and if we can get some momentum.

The head though says the game is gone. The heart is left hoping for a miracle. Only one team has come back from 44 pts down at half-time in a final and that was 44 years ago.
