Half-time

Richmond    1.3      2.8-20
Coll'wood     5.2   10.4-64

Goals: Riewoldt, Higgins.

Only thing to hang out hat on is we couldn't play much worse and 44 pts was the margin at half-time of the 1970 GF from which Collingwood choked from  :-\.

I can't see it happening and it's more likely game over  :'( but it's going to take an effort of 1973 proportions to comeback from here.

Send Georgie into the middle & tell him to tackle everything!  Roll the dice time.

How can the whole team be so bloody flat?  Conca needs to go, Grigg is finished too.  Please.  I think Conca is our finals jinx

What is alarming not one of our leaders is standing up either.
Cotch tried at various stages of the second qtr but no one went with him.

Dusty has been unsighted. Surprised he's had as many as 10 touches.
Jack beaten.
Rance beaten.
Edwards unsighted too.

Hard to find a Tiger who is winning his position. Smashed all over the park.

It's incredible we've only had 4 less scoring shots. Feels like 20 less. It doesn't matter though when we miss our shots  :scream.

They need to apply some pressure for a start, or the margin will double

First 10 mins is the key. If you were Collingwood you'd be trying to end it for good straight after half-time with a couple of quick goals. However, if we can get the first two then let's see what happens and if we can get some momentum.

The head though says the game is gone. The heart is left hoping for a miracle. Only one team has come back from 44 pts down at half-time in a final and that was 44 years ago.

Playing volleyball in the middle doesn't work, boys. Just gifting them easy clearances.

They miss.
