3. Geelong's Lincoln McCarthy is officially a Brisbane Lion. The Cats moved McCarthy, a third (currently 54) and fourth-round selection (currently 57) in return for Brisbane's third (currently 42) and fourth-round picks (currently 60).

5. Suns receive Corey Ellis, Anthony Miles and Richmond's 2019 third round draft selection, in exchange for Gold Coast's 2019 third round pick to Richmond.

6. Geelong has secured 196cm South Adelaide forward Nathan Kreuger in a deal that could help Carlton facilitate a move for Mitch McGovern. The Cats will give Carlton pick No.42 in return for Kreuger, who the Blues have first access to as part of a state league compensation package received from the AFL last month.

7. Scott Lycett is officially a Port Adelaide player after West Coast chose not to match the Power's big contract offer for the 26-year-old.

West Coast will receive a compensation pick at the end of the first round of the 2018 NAB AFL Draft, which currently sits at No.20.

13. Adelaide Crows have traded Mitch McGovern and a Future Third Round Selection to Carlton for Shane McAdam (Carlton special assistance pre-listed) and its Future Round Five Selection. Sydney have traded Rd 1 (13) to the Adelaide Crows for Rd 3 (40) and Swans receive Carlton’s Rd 2 (26) and Rd 2 (28) selections.

17. St Kilda has completed a deal for Dean Kent from Melbourne in exchange for Pick 65.

18. Dan Hannebery has joined St Kilda from Sydney. The Swans receive pick 39 and a 2019 second-round pick, while the Saints get Hannebery and pick 28.
