Selwood did his syndesmosis I think a couple of season ago leading into finals and they had him playing in 3 weeks!!! Some sort of more modern orthopaedic techniqur where they use wires instead of screws to keep it together?
Yes but he played poo.

There must be a guru doctor down at Geelong. I heard Harley Bennell’s manager say that what Freo couldn’t identify or fix in the 3 years, this Cats doctor figured out in 5 minutes looking at a scan.  :shh

Early prognosis

Toby Nankervis (groin soreness) is expected to get through training this week and be in line for a senior recall after pulling up well from the VFL elimination final. Noah Balta missed the weekend's VFL match with a cork but is now available for selection. Stack is running on the weight-bearing Alter G treadmill, but a timeframe is yet to be set for his return. - Sarah Black

Early prognosis

Stack has started running and is progressing well from surgery on a syndesmosis injury, but the Tigers are still reticent to put a timeframe on his return. Daniel Rioli has pulled up well from a rolled ankle suffered in the qualifying final win, which he played out. - Sarah Black
