I think in the second quarter he handballed to a Roo while being tackled. Was a bit of a stuff up.

Funny moment he was on the bench and walking along the fence having a drink.

One of our fans shouted WE STILL LOVE YOU JACK

And he said 'thanks mate'

Got a nice giggle haha

Hope someone told the fan to speak for themselves.  I reckon he is a slow plodder that if he is getting games it shows how stuffed our list really is.

I think it's wrong to bag players at the game. It's a vile and toxic thing to do when a bloke is giving it a go.

They should only be encouraged and supported.

He's playing well given his limitations and it's not his fault the list isn't deep enough to drop him.

i respectfully dont agree with the exception of the abuse levelled at carlton players a few months and dogs today. If i knew how to post the video from today i would, but it was pretty bad.

Im not one to bag our players at the game, but i certainly bag the umpires especially if i am close to them. stuff them.

some will say whats the difference?

Also if i got paid half a mil i would accept criticism. If not and its all too hard then perhaps go find another job.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Ross has been one of few highlights this season. His work rate and willingness to get the best out of himself deserves acknowledgment. Solid AFL player these days :shh

Difference is the fans are there to support the players and enjoy the game.

If a bloke's giving it a go why bag then?

The players love our fan base and thankfully we're nothing like the neanderthals you mentioned

Greatly improved, been in the top 5 possession winners for weeks, like every player can alway improve parts of their games .
He should be proud of himself for his improvements

Not going to criticise him he has improved his game. The question is from what low to what high.
Still believe he is nothing more than lets say an average player and one we should be looking to upgrade upon down the track.

Going to say people need to ask themselves why do we continue to play him on a wing. Okay he has been servicable their but it is ludicrous we just stop looking for better player for the role.

23 yr old Midfielder #JackRoss has now played 63 games incl. 19 last season.
After a slow burn he finally started to establish himself in the snr side. He's developing ok but IMO he needs to keep improving to remain in our best team.
What are your 2024 expectations for Jack?

A lot on here think he is a plodder.
He has shown a lot of character hanging in at Richmond after Marlion got 2 medal in 2017.
I think he shows composure under pressure and has a good head for the game which makes up for his lack of speed.
He is probably not played in his preferred mid position so it is a bit tricky.
He seems best suited in a sort of roaming mid/back flanker/wing but is not suited to hold any of those positions in his own right.
He doesn’t shirk the challenge. He is fit and dedicated.
Will be interesting to see how he goes under Yze
I think his best result this year would see him as a clever deliverer of the ball concentrating on developing his offence.
15 games this year would be a win for him but he could develop into our best 22.
