Brayshaw just said Newy and the 'push-up' King will be coming up on the show shortly.

They crossed to Newy and Kingy who were at the Beau Vernon fundraiser which has raised $100,000 tonight.

http://www.richmondfc.com.au/tabid/6301/default.aspx?newsid=146013. You can donate to help the kid here: http://www.bvfundraiser.com.au/

Kingy said he's had a plate put in his left thumb, getting over his broken toe and next week will go in for surgery for a knee reco (repair the PCL he's carried this year) and to fix up an abductor muscle.

Kingy is also putting this in his hallway until he's over his injuries to ride it:

Summary

* Cotch said he's not really comfortable getting pumped up by everyone else all the time but it's all part of the game and the other (older) guys on the panel tonight probably deal with it better.

* There's a "process" to decide the captaincy. Loved to be captain at some stage but there's 4 other leaders doing a great job - Lids (great season and leadership qualities) one of them. Doesn't think you are ever ready to be captain and need to be thrown into the deep in at some stage. Would be a great honour to be captain and it's a cherished position within the club.

* No excuses for the playing group from now on (there you go WAT) with Punt Rd Oval being done up and all.

* Cotch had a poster of Lids up on the his bedroom wall as he was growing up. So what Lids said last night was true lol.

* His hair was very "boofy" for two months there so had to tidy it up.

* New rotation system means you have to find other avenues to your play so he likes playing forward. Dusty usually starts the game there first.

* We believe we lack a bit of maturity in forward and defensive areas. When we've reviewed games on Mondays it's been decisions late in games that have proven costly. Bringing in a couple of mature players. Helps say Rance and Morris down back and allows Newy to push up into the midfield. Gives up more options.

* Brownlow talk - said before it's nice to recognised as having a consistent year. The night will be more exciting being in contention.

* The Hyundai he won winning The Age's player of the year he donated to charity.

* Crawf gave Cotch a Logie because he's won everything else lol.

I think he was a Geelong fan?

Here's the vision of Cotch's interview last night:
