Barrett on now...

As we knew already, Martin met with senior GWS officials at their Olympic Park precinct. They showed a snippett of vision of Carr escorting Dusty into a vehicle (a third person off camera was the driver).

More later on in the show.

OMG  :gobdrop :gobdrop

He did what ?

:lol
Ratboy has footage of Dusty and Racoon-top Carr  :shh at GWS home base today.
Great to see the aerial, spy and dumpster cams in full use   :shh

Even funnier was the rug on Ralph Scattar.
It had more shine than a showroom car. ;D

Neither I reckon it moves by remote control operation from someone out of camera shot.
There are three buttons one for movement one for shine and one for bounce and body.

Met Gubby Allen, SOS, Leon Cameron and GWS CEO Dave Mathews. Meeting went for an hour.

Barrett's gut feel is Martin can't go back to Richmond. Very close to being done and then it blew up. Richmond did the right thing calling Martin and his manager's bluff.

SOS said Dusty was up here to meet his father and they took the opportunity to speak to Dustin and his manager. SOS claimed there was no offer and no timeframe for one. They've got to do their homework regarding all the players they are looking at. They've done their "due diligence" and believe Dusty is a good person. When questioned about Dusty's off-field baggage, SOS replied that question was out of line.

I don't understand what "very close to signing" means?

What happened?

Only interesting bit was SOS's response to the question about the off field stuff.

Rest of it was fluff

What part of it don't you understand torch?

Thought it was pretty obviously

It has been spoken about in this thread at length

This time last week they were waiting for him to put pen to paper, terms were agreed to. On Monday it went pear shaped and Carr told the club the deal wasnt done and they were going to field other offers

As to what happened ask Ralph Carr

I will tell you.  The club reached an agreement with Martin last week.  They upped their offer from $550k to $580K to get this agreement. Then at the last minute Carr comes back and asks for $650K. That request broke Richmond.  They said enough is enough.
They then came out on Monday and said their bit about letting him look at other clubs....

Ok?
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.
