* We missed an opportunity but we couldn't be prouder in the way we defended our premiership year. Pies were too good on the night. We dealt with it and move on.
* Clearly, we had challenges regarding a second tall forward. Caddy and Townsend played above themselves really. Lynch is a really good character and glad we've got him.
* We go inside 50 a lot from repeat entries and "dirty ball". Lynch will work well with Jack to take marks inside 50. Tom is also very capable at ground level too. He has a lot of ground ball goals and is very creative.
* Caddy, Rioli & Higgins to play more midfield.
* People laughed at us (re: membership) but our people bought in. We had to bring the member into the centre of our club and show them our plans. They feel apart of it and feel valued and we're now benefitting from it as a club.
* Don't think too far ahead. Happy to continue to serve at the Board's pleasure. We're competitive on-field; we're competitive off-field. We missed out this year so we're hungry for more.
* Off-field cap has reigned in expenditure.
