From memory, we played North in the round 1 as well that year at Waverley. Jeans took over from KB and to try to give a new professional look to the Club all the coaching staff wore suits. However, after dominating the first quarter but kicking 2.8 (hello Stephen Ryan), it was game (and season) over by half-time after North put their first down in the 2nd qtr.
