Herald-Sun says this Thursday while the VFL website says the following Thursday :huh. Which is right?

The Blues will rest their players over the weekend instead of giving them more game time in a Richmond v Carlton VFL practice match on Thursday.

Small forward Jason Castagna (ankle) is fit again and training but is expected to return through a VFL practice match tomorrow given his interrupted preparation.

First Quarter highlights

Yesssss! A trademark rove and snap across his body by George Castagna. RICH 8 NB 0

We're on! @jakeaarts bobs up and snaps truly following the restart. RICH 14 NB 0

Connor Menadue pumps the ball inside 50 and Callum Moore soars over the pack and plucks a ripper. Moore then coolly slots the goal. RICH 21 NB 3

.@NBluesFC hits back with its first major of the evening. RICH 21 NB 10

Superbly fluent as we waltz the ball the full length of the field, ending with Callum Coleman-Jones who kicks his first, from the goal-line. RICH 27 NB 11

A ripping F50 tackle by Shai Bolton causes the spillage and Luke English pounces of the loose ball, snapping truly from 45. RICH 34 NB 11

Ivan Soldo stands tall, deep in attack and snaps his first of the evening. RICH 40 NB 11

QT: Excellent way to start the night, pressure, intensity and connection.

RICH 6.4 (40)
NB 1.5 (11)

Goals: Castagna, Aarts, Moore, Coleman-Jones, English, Soldo.

Second Quarter

That's two-in-a-row for @NBluesFC RICH 42 NB 24

Two in a minute and @NBluesFC has cut the margin to 12 points. RICH 42 NB 30

That's exactly what we needed, gut running by Tom Silvestro and class and grunt by @jakeaarts . RICH 49 NB 31

This game has gone up a notch. @NBluesFC draws closer.

Current Score (2nd qtr):

RICH 7.8-50
NB    5.7-37

And that's the half-time score.

HT: @NBluesFC brought the heat in Q2, kicking 4 goals to 1. We raised the fight and we'll have to raise it again in the 2nd half.

RICH   6.4    7.8 (50)
NB      1.5    5.7 (37)

Goals: Aarts 2, Castagna, Moore, Coleman-Jones, English, Soldo.

Third Quarter

A cool head and sure right boot from Liam Baker finds Callum Moore, who burns off his opponent, spots up Mabior Chol, who strolls in for his 1st. RICH 58 NB 40

COURAGE! @PatNaish back with the flight 👊 RICH 58 NB 40

We'll take that. Jacob Ballard is the happy recipient of a 50m penalty. RICH 65 NB 40

And another 50. This time @jakeaarts is marched to the goal-line. Sydney Stack's hit-up pass 👌 RICH 71 NB 41

3QT: We lifted the intensity that quarter and were rock-solid down back.

RICH   6.4    7.8     10.13 (73)
NB      1.5    5.7      5.11 (41)

Goals: Aarts 3, Castagna, Moore, Coleman-Jones, English, Soldo, Chol, Ballard
