I'd go Bolton for the Dogs if Jack, as assumed, isn't available.

His pace could be handy.

Jackstar is back!!!

In Bolton and Garthwaite.
Out: Jack and Astbury(both injured).

Higgins and Rioli weren't fantastic against the Demons but shouldn't be dropped.

I thought Higgins was actually pretty good, probably best game for the season.

He did make some clangers and his kicking was a bit off, but I reckon you can forgive that from a kid moving into a midfield role. He got a reasonable amount of the footy, and I think he had 10 contested possessions.

I thought last week he looked like he needed a spell, but after last night with a 10 day break he stays in for mine.

INS: Bolton

OUTS: Reiwoldt (inj)

And if Astbiry doesn't come up then straight swap for Garthwaite

Agree with above.

Higgins and KMac aren't going anywhere on their form. I thought they were both serviceable last night, especially Higgins.

I rate Moore but a not as a Riewoldt replacement.... want to see CCJ...but I also want to see Bolton again.... silver lining to Riewoldt's injury is that Balta -who I strongly suspect is last picked every week at this stage- should now get a good run of games... :shh

Im with Dio on this I want to see CCJ
not moore. CCJ can also help Nank in the ruck a little bit.

I don't think they will play CCJ in the same side as Balta.

If astbury doesn’t come up then what if balta takes his spot down back and bring in ccj to fill baltas and jacks role as a fwd/ruck. Then bring in Bolton for Riewoldt.

Yeah, my assumption was Balta would stay playing further up  the ground.

But if he goes back, then it could happen.

Out- Jack

In- Bolton (should never have been dropped)

Haven’t things changed when you can get news that one of our greatest forwards to ever play for the Tigers is out and you are not too worried because you trust others like Bolton can contribute to cover him.

Imo we must keep kids like Bolta, Ross, Bolton and Stack in the side even if they have a quiet game or two. We must look long term.

Unfortunately that means players like Grigg may have to miss out even when fit.
