Travelling emergency
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

We surge the ball forward from the kick-out, and Mannagh collects cleanly inside 50 and watches his right-foot snap sailing through  :gotigers.

And Chol has just kicked our third  :gotigers.

Good play by Miller to keep it in front of himself. Gets it to HF. Aarts inside 50 kick finds Thompson. His set shot is wide and falls short. Frankston clear.

Siren goes as we go forward.

Quarter Time

Richmond   5.0-30
Frankston   3.2-20

Goals: Naish, Chol, Aarts, Morris, Mannagh.

Lots of rebound footy. Hotly contested. Commentators saying our extra class and accurate kicking for goal is currently the difference.

McRae praising Frankston efforts in the huddle. Says we need to life our efforts further to match theirs. Happy with the mids winning the ball. Defence needs to improve and not panic.

Markov didn't play the first quarter but he's on now at HB. So he is being managed.

Umps like the AFL. Not paying us frees.

Naish 11 disposals in the firs quarter.

RCD inside 50. CCJ spoiled. Throw-in. Morris marks the Dolphins clearing kick. Goes long and CCJ takes an absolute hanger over 8 players! Marked it at its highest point too. They are calling it mark of the year by far. Very much Roach-like.

Kicks the goal too  :gotigers.
