Would've liked to have seen Naish instead of Menadud, Butler will replace Rioli , hope Aarts replaces Castagna, don't reckon RCD will play and still not quite ready in my book but won't mind if he does -wouldn't be surprised if he replaced Higgins in the guts...the naming of Slomo is always a worry...hope he doesn't replace Balta....  :shh

Average ins
I hope Garthwaite and Soldo don’t play. VFL standard players imo.

Vlastuin massive out

No Townsend even in the squad.
We basically have 8 (best 22) players out with injury and Townsend a premiership player from less than 2 years ago cannot get in a squad of 26.

So he is basically 34th or worse in line for a game at present. Wowee!

Garthwaite was fantastic against Williamstown. Needs to come in to cover Vlastuin. Butler will come in after kicking 3 for Rioli.

Not sure what other changes will be made although I'd love to see RCD get some game time as he is a dynamo for clearances but his tank still needs building up.....

I would have brought in Townsend for Ellis.... :shh
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Is that the shortest half back line in the history of Richmond AFL/VFL?

Maybe only since the war?

We went Into last week's game with 1 less tall defender and it really was a mistake. That should mean we add a extra tall back in. So my changes reflect that.

In Astbury, Garthwaite and Butler.
Out Rioli, Vlastin and Menadue.
Here , kitty kitty. Here , kitty kitty.   AAAUGH!

Hardwick confirmed David Astbury will return to the side to face Fremantle on Sunday after missing last week's loss to the Western Bulldogs with an ankle injury.

Fellow defender Ryan Garthwaite is also a confirmed inclusion with Nick Vlastuin (ankle) missing, while Riley Collier-Dawkins and Jake Aarts will have to wait until the final team is named before knowing if they will make their debuts.

"We're really excited about what he (Garthwaite) has to offer. He just hasn't had the consistency of AFL games in a continuum. He'll get the opportunity now to grab that role and make a good fist of it," Hardwick said.

Just hope both Garthwaite & Astbury in doesn't mean Balta out... :shh

BTW - Don't remember starting this thread... remember writing the OP in another thread, not being able to post it and getting a message saying the topic didn't exist...  :huh
