If only Pickett was fit....  :shh

Out: Higgins, Butjer, Soldo

In: Townsend, Rioli, Chol

Garthwaite is on a steep learning curve and really needs Rance out there but we don't have much choice atm....he;ll be better for it next year hopefully taking over from Astbury...I 'd actually like to see Hardwick swing him & Astbury around with Balta around during matches though to mix things up...both can & have played forward.... :shh :shh

Would also like to see Bolton on ball and swapping with Edwards off half back... :shh :shh :shh

BTW - If all you people calling for Naish to come in thought our defensive efforts tonight were woeful....well let's just say young Paddy's inclusion wouldn't improve us one iota in that department... :shh

...and RCD barely touches it at VFL level - tip toes around the packs like Tambling and spreads like frozen cooking butter...still confident that he'll eventually be a serious player but right now still miles off it... :shh :shh

get Towner in FFS.

Higgins is cooked time for a long spell.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Butler should get another week imo, no point coming in for just one.

however with bolton, butler, baker, higgins and castagna I think we have too many lights bodies.

Bring in townsend or graham if fit for higgins, let him find some good form in the 2's.

Outs:
Broad (worst game and has played maybe 1 passable game all year - don’t know why he hardly gets criticism on here he’s been terrible all year)
Higgins (second year blues? Too much dinky business and no penetration - 0 disposals 3rd qtr)
Lynch (such a useless waste of money and talent when he refuses to play properly, very lazy game)
Butler (go back and try again)

Ins:
Naish (deserves a run)
Townsend (will attack the footy and smash the packs).
Lambert (back from injury)
Chol (Surely can’t do worse than what Lynch gave us tonight)
After watching the reserves.

CCJ instead of Chol.
After watching Chol today it looks as though he gives up when he isn’t in a position to win the contest.
Absolutely unacceptable behaviour
Graham instead of Townsend (turns it over too much).
Lambert if fit.
Naish deserves a run. Or Menadue in for extra pace.
Rioli was poor so he doesn’t get a recall.
The club that keeps giving.

So tired of watching Broad stuff it up week in and week out.  Surely we can swap him out with something more competitive like an angry looking witches hat.

Watched Rioli today in VFL
He won’t be playing AFL next week that’s for sure
Did nothing
Chol has 3 possessions and was hopeless , played his good game for the year last week
Pat Naish was a standout , has to play next week
Townsend and Graham were very good as was Menadue
CCJ poor

RICHMOND

Time for a look at Patrick Naish? The Tigers midfield will bounce back against Geelong after being smashed by North Melbourne but whether it is enough to beat the Cats remains to be seen.

What is obvious is that father-son Naish is tearing the VFL to shreds. Naish has kicked eight goals this year off a wing, his latest performance clearly his best.

He kicked two goals to go with 25 possessions, but also had a season-high 12 contested possessions and 143 ranking points, not far off Round 6’s 147 points.

Daniel Rioli’s one-goal, 13-possession game saw him amass only 42 rankings points, likely not enough for him to earn a recall.

The Tigers take on an elite Geelong defence knowing it will be a tough day at the office for Tom Lynch, who needs more help from Josh Caddy and Noah Balta if the Tigers are to kick a winning score.
