I'm feeling excited. Something extraordinary is brewing.
Injury crisis at the start turned out to be a blessing. Now we are hitting our straps and looking ominous. Stack, Bolton, Balta and Chol all have X factor.
Lynch is peaking at the right time and looks a beast.

Even if Rance comes back and is at 80% - imagine the lift that will give the side.

No wonder Chris is already sooking.

For some reason I still have us behind Geelong, pies and the eagles even though the punters have backed us into equal second fav and closing quickly on the cats. Huge game on Friday, think I’m still scarred from the previous 2 beatings they’ve put on us.

Might be because I just don’t think teams can realistically challenge from outside the top 4 (yes I know the doggies did it but that’s the exception not the rule). So win on Friday and we’ll be on track, lose and I think it’ll be beyond us.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Feeling greats. Kids been awesome to watch.

Would love if Geelong finish 1st and we finish 4th and play them at the MCG. Meltdowns galore!

And WCE to finish 2nd then pump the crud out of Pies who finish 3rd...

This season has me feeling really positive for the future.

Despite the injuries, we have found so many talented young players, and we haven't even seen our No.1 pick debut yet!

Funny in some ways I feel more confident this year than the same time last year.

But, we haven't really proven anything this far. A lot of the confident feeling I'm getting is based on the fact we went on with it in 17, and the feeling that we couldn't last year due to things that were out of our control (injuries/sickness etc).

Perhaps in reality we were just found out in finals last year. I mean, we turned it up another gear in ''17 that we hadn't seen until the final few games of the year/finals. Are we feeling confident this year based on the fact that we all have belief we're going to turn something up again that we haven't seen to this point of the season?
