Hardwick's post-match media conference
« on: July 26, 2019, 11:17:04 PM »
Dimma just had his post-match presser:

* Houli - Important player on and off. Been great to be apart of his journey and the person and player he's become.

* Cotch - he's tweaked the hammy. Not sure how significant. Hopefully it's minor. We'll let you [media] know when we know.

* Lynch - Quality player. Hands elite. Impressed with both him and Jack.

* Jack's a coach in waiting. Incredibly smart. Knows when to go himself or clear a path for Tom. Pleased to see each other work hard to make each other better.

* Round 2 loss was a learning experience for us. We've worked on our defensive play to counter their slow play. They can also change gears. Their 45 kicks were a concern early on.

* Melbourne's best can challenge any side. They've been in winning positions. We'll be preparing for Melbourne's best next week.

* We're pleased with where we now sit on the ladder but the boys know we can get better.

* Praised our backline. Make no mistake we'd love to have Rance back but Grimes, Astbury, Floss and Broad have all improved their game.
