David Warner will play no further part in the second Test after being ruled out with concussion.

Australia about to cough up a lead

Cummins again found wanting as a Captain in the first hour after tea. Poor bowling changes or lack there of and refusing to bowl himself

As for our VC; Smith, his slip fielding is embarrassing at the moment.  Dropped another couple

Well we managed to get a lead of 1 run  ::)

India all out for 262

Lyon 5/67
Kunhemann 2/72
Murphy 2/52

Lyon bowled very well (finally)

But to have th3m 7 for 120 odd and only come away with a 1 run lead is bitterly disappointing

Renshaw stinks, maybe they're hoping to take the pressure off him a bit.

Head can bat anywhere IMO

I rate Renshaw. He certainly wasn't afforded the same sort of "2nd" chances when he was out of form that others have been. He was simply dropped. He has scored a test century and a few 50's. I see him as long term replacement to Warner. He is good player of spin. The biased commentators were suggesting he didn't open because he is the better player of spin

Agree that Head can probably bat anywhere but I'd rather having coming in, in his normal spot. Fortunately, so far the opening has worked

Stumps day 2

Aust 1/61 (lead of 62)

Head 39 off 40 ( so far, so good)
Labuschagne  16 off 19
Khawaja 6 (played a very stupid shot,  seriously what was he thinking?)

I meant to say has been stinking it up, don't actually think he stinks. But I wonder if they're taking the heat off him a bit so he can relax.

You're right he's been dropped unceremoniously and that's got to hurt the confidence so playing as an opener must be tough in that situation.

Make that 8 down now for just 111. We lost 4 for no runs :help.

Some of these dismissals are park cricket  :help.

Not knocking over their tail is going to come back to bite us. A 90 run lead would at least made them have to chase 200+ on a dodgy pitch.

Embarrassing,  just embarrassing

The Captain should be absolutely ashamed of his "effort". First ball duck trying to smash it out of the park

As for the Coach, no wonder his nickname was Ronald. He is indeed a clown.

The Aussies lost by 6 wickets.

India 4/118 and they retain the Border-Gavaskar trophy.
