Pak 0/57 at Lunch.

Old school test batting from Pakistan so far. Slow and steady and leaving wide and short balls alone which the Aussie bowlers have bowled too many of so far.

Normal transmission has been resumed. Pakistan now 4/85 and all dismissals caught behind the wicket.

Aside from Smith, Kohli and one or two others like Stokes, it seems there's a real dearth of quality international test batsmen over recent years. The Ashes were dominated by the bowlers aside from Smith and Stokes and yesterday after Lunch the Aussie bowlers ripped through the Pakistanis.

Kane Williamson is world class. Joe Root, despite his very porridgey ashes performance is world class.

I also think Pujara is worthy of acknowledgement. Shame AB has retired from Test Cricket - he was also elite, same with Amla.

Burns silly.

Elsewise a boring day of cricket. Pitch flat as a rack. When there's no wickets dropping I'd prefer to see them scoring 350-400 runs/day.

Aussies 580 .... Lambushagne 185, Wade 60.

Pak 3/64 ..... Starc with 2 & Cummins got the other.

A lead of 276 runs. This should end up an innings win some time tomorrow.
