Series was lost last week when they couldn't bowl them out

On deteriorating pitches you expect your spinner to ball them out. Yet again "The Goat" aka Nathan Lyon failed to deliver. He was exceptionally poor today. Starc horribly out of form

Also, selections all series left me doing this  :huh3

I get loyalty but Langer's blind loyalty to certain players is stupid. Wade, Burns? Why? Why not take a punt on Swepson when Lyon is giving you practically nothing.

Also think the plans he and the other coaches wanted implemented failed us badly today. Though part thought they didnt actually have a plan at certain times

Massive positive was Green. Going to be a great Test Player. The wickets will come

He's the captain -not to mention also the wicketkeeper- and the buck stops with him......did we even get one referral right for the entire series? Also failed to refer several we should have, which we do more than any other test side...cost us a series win in England and has now cost us one at home... it's a clear pattern and Timmy is the common denominator..... :shh

Might have to actually bowl him first....don't see how he could've possibly gone any worse than Starc did today... :shh :shh

Ultimately poor tactics and too many passengers with the bat & ball cost us the last two tests and the series.

The definition of insanity is repeating a tactic that failed over and over again and expecting a different result. Trying to bounce the Indians out didn't work in previous innings yet we kept at it. What happened to targeting off stump and setting a field for it. With no chance of lbw or bowled the only way we could get them out was caught. It was why Pujara was willing to cop body hits. It also played into Gill and Pant's hands who could swing hard without fear. When a ball gets skied high straight to point and we don't have a fielder in cooee you knew we were lost out there. Paine was totally out-captained by the proactive Rahane, made worse given it was against their B-side.

Starc had runs on the board but fmd bad form after the first test.

Lyon stank it up.

Cummins and Hazel were fine.

Smith, Labuschagne, Green no problem.

Warner needs to retire. Harris wasn't and still isn't good enough. No Burns or Wade ever again please. And Tim Pain has to go.

Labuschagne for captain.

Out: Paine, Lyon, Starc, Warner, Wade, Langer

In: Inglis/Carey, Swepson/Zampa, J,Richardson/Pattinson/Neser/Meredith, Pucovski, Phillipe/Patterson, Gillespie :shh

I'd keep Harris for now purely because he opens with Pucovski in the Shield and there's really no-one else atm except maybe Jordan Silk whose fc record isn't that flash either...be nice if the Shield didn't stop for two months for hit and giggle  Kentucky Fried Cricket... another thing that needs to change but won't...>:(

I know it mortifies, disgusts some but Paine was never going to be stripped of the Captaincy

What Tim needs to do is make his own decisions on the field not keep following the plans that Langer and the other coaches put into place. If that aren't working then dump them Tim....

Langer has too much to say/influence on what goes on, on the filed IMHO
