So Paine and his wife are on the edge. How pathetic is this whole story and the fact it’s been replayed once again in the media.

Perhaps this girl should show her face?

Rather than pinning it on "this girl"

Why dont' you direct more of your anger towards the journo from the HUN for his "exclusive Herald Sun investigation" that created this story. I won't even bother typing his name

What was the purpose of his "exclusive investigation" exactly? To destroy someone's career without any thought of others who were going to be hurt like Paine's wife, his kids (yes they are too young to understand now but wait til they go to school), his family and even the other party.

Then this journo has the audacity to write his own moral compass editorial about his exclusive focusing on someone's character.   :scream

You are assuming "this girl" went to the HUN and gave them the texts. We don't know, could have been someone at Cricket Aust or Cricket Tas... whoever did it is only part of it...end of the day the HUN didn't have to run the story but they did.

this is typical Murdoch Gutter Journalism... exclusive clickbait headlines with no regard to anyone they may crush in the process. Rupert will be so proud, journo will most likely get a promotion for his efforts

Whether we agree with how CA & Cricket Tas handled it 3 years ago the fact is it was dealt with and should have been left at that out of respect for ALL parties.

You are right WP, I missed that journo part. 100% right.

They should be ashamed. It’s slightly different to some if it happened yesterday, but years ago, and where it was consensual. Is it really worth it putting his wife and family through it.

I just read the girl is taking CA to court so perhaps your right. She seems another innocent party now.

The last session has been washed out. So the Aussies begin to bat tomorrow.

Graeme Swann launched onto SENZ Breakfast to offer his take on the astonishing Ashes start.

“What a joke we are, what a joke!” laughed Swanny.

“I've been dreading this day because this Australia team is pants, and we all know it. It's as bad an Australian team as there has been for 20 years.

“And we are equally as bad, apart from Rooty (Joe Root) and (Ben) Stokes, and Jimmy (Anderson) and Broady (Stuart Broad). We left two of them out, one through injury.

“Honestly, our top six wouldn't get in most county sides 10 years ago.

“It's just a joke.

“I’m a proper optimist, but this is terrible. What a joke of a decision (to bat first).”

Swann predicted the end result to be Australia taking the series 3-1.

Credit where it's due. After our mini middle order collapse, Travis Head stood up and took the game away from England again. A top well earned century  :clapping.
