Should have played Swepon too

I think Lyon's past it anyway

Swepson has to play the 2nd test.

No brainer

Aussies 8/505 at Stumps Day 2. They're saying we're not declaring yet either.

Khawaja 160
Carey 93
Lyon 38

Terrible Test cricket by Australia, thought we past this sort meandering nonsense

TBH we batted like Pakistan

Fingers crossed Swepson has a blinder in his 1st test because 2 days in this is looking like a boring draw

We batted into day 3 and finally declared at 9/556

Just after tea Pakistan are 8/103

Pitch is breaking up. Massive gamble batting as long as we did but so far it looks to be working.

Still hate watching meandering, boring test cricket

Pakistan 148 all out ............ Starc 3/29, Swepson 2/32.

Aussies didn't impose the follow on. We're 1/81 at stumps Day 3. A lead of 489 runs.

Shocked no follow on with a lead like that.

Weak cricket.

No point batting much longer, maybe 1 session at the most.

Agree 👍 should have enforced the follow on.

But it seems to be the norm these days, not enforcing the follow on

Just hope the Cummins doesn't leave the declaration too late like he did in Sydney back in January

A draw  :P. Couldn't bowl them out on the final day.

Aus 9/556 dec. & 2/97 dec.
Pak 148 & 7/443

So we fell 3 wickets short while Pakistan was 63 runs short.

Lyon got 4 wickets but Swepson missed out with 0/156.

Snail pace batting in the first

And not enforcing the follow on,

Starc - good for one spell a match :shh

Green -under bowled :shh :shh

Lyon - picked up  4 but again too little, too late...another 5th day failure for Non-Threatening Nathan
 :shh :shh :shh

Swepson...meh....place holder until Sangha is ready.... :shh :shh :shh :shh

Starc, Swepson out - Hazlewood, Boland in and just give more overs to the Tourettes Twins if required... :shh :shh :shh :shh :shh
