All over!

SA 204 all out. Lyon 3/58, Boland 2/49, Smith 1/9, Cummins 1/20, Starc 1/62. Starc also with another run out.

Aussies win by an innings and 182 runs and have sewn up another series win.

Matthew Renshaw and Ashton Agar have been added to Australia’s squad for the third Test against South Africa in Sydney, in replacement of the injured Mitchell Starc and Cameron Green.

SEN Test Cricket’s Bharat Sundaresan believes the difference between the best and worst teams in Test cricket is cause for major concern.

“This might not be a popular opinion but in the next five to 10 years, Test cricket will mainly be played by India, England and Australia,” Sundaresan said on SEN Breakfast.

I agree.

Also don't think there's enough opportunity for the weaker nations to play against the better ones, like Ireland etc. They should be flying internationally and playing warm ups for the bigger teams for exposure to quality and different surfaces etc.

I think we've found the most ridiculous law in cricket  :P.

https://twitter.com/BBL/status/1609514038337368076

https://www.cricket.com.au/news/boundary-catch-laws-of-cricket-juggling-effort-rope-michael-neser-bbl12-video-rules/2023-01-01

So after taking the initial catch inside the rope you technically can jump in the air as many times as you like on the other side of the rope as long as you aren't in contact with the ground each time you catch and release the ball :o.

.... jump and throw the ball in the air .... grab a drink ..... jump and throw it up again .... grab a bite ..... jump and throw it up again .... sign some autographs .... jump and throw it up again .... wave to a mate in the crowd .... jump and throw it up again .... run back onto the field of play inside the rope ... catch it = OUT!

If they want to simplify things then just borrow the NFL rule. If both feet are grounded inside the field of play when the ball is initially caught then it's a catch.

Yep. Today totally washed out. Showers expected tomorrow too.

If by any chance there's some play tomorrow then Cummins may have to tell Khawaja to forget about the double century and put South Africa straight in.

With Ashton Agar back in the Australian test team, that brings up an interesting trivia question.

Which AFL captain dismissed him in an under 17s state game?
