Captain's knock  :clapping.

Unbelievable win. I went to bed thinking we were done. 54 run unbeaten last stand by Cummins and Lyon.

Stokes may have dropped the urn with that dropped catch  :shh

The Captain stood up big time  :clapping

And even Lyon made amends after his brainfade in the 1st innings

And how fitting the winning runs came off the twit Robinson.  :clapping

If Robinson is a twit, we are a team full of them

No team gives as much “banter” as Australia

these were the days of the best commentary in pretty much all forms of sport. The girl last night is as bad as underwood.

Nothing to do with woke

I've been very vocal about this sort of boorish behaviour for years. Called Australia out for it when they did it. Will call out anyone who does it. There is no need for it

I have no issue with banter, it can be fantastic. But abusing someone isn't banter

But boorish antics like what we saw from Robinson and his send off of Khawaja isn't banter. It wasn't funny it was just disrespectful towards a bloke who had played a great knock. Where was his "banter" when he was get smashed around the park? And then his comments about the 3 tailenders only proved he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Why? Because comments like that have a tendency to bite one on the backside. So yeah I reckon he is a twit

We give better than we get
No doubt
I’ve owned a cricket centre in Melbourne and know multiple players that have played for Australia quite well .. honestly , the sledging the Aussies spit out is unrivalled .. stuff off stuffwit or whatever he said, is actually tame .. just it was front and centre for the cameras .. Australian cricket and abuse come hand in hand

We give it , we cop it back

I notice not one current Australian player has ragged up about it

Loved Carey’s response to it

TBH, I prefer the emotion of twit Ollie than Shai showing carlton to ball running into an open goal , but that’s just me

Raw fiery emotion used to be common in sport and is being phased out

Truly , 20 years ago this wouldn’t have registered on your “twit radar”

Now it’s front page news

Reminds me of a Viv Richards story. He was playing a county game on one of those smaller cricket grounds over there. After Viv plays and misses a delivery, this cocky county bowler turns to Viv and says "it's red, round and weighs 8 ounces". The very next delivery Viv smacks the ball over the bowler's head, over the fence, over the entrance gate to the ground and onto the downward slopping road outside the ground. Viv then turns to the county bowler who had just mouthed off to him the ball before and replied "Well mon, since you know what it looks like you can go and fetch it!".

Also love the Steve Waugh to Jamie Siddons. Siddons "stuff, why so slow. You know this isnt a test match dont you." Waugh "Of course I do, you're playing".  :lol :lol :lol
