Bit hypocritical of the Poms sooking about the Bairstow dismissal

When last year on 6 June at the same venue against NZ Ollie Pope ran out deGrandholme in a similar manner because silly Colin went wandering out of his crease. They didn't withdraw their appeal for that one

So why is this different?

Reckon you might have commented hearing something without watching it yourself?
Have you seen the deGrandholme one?
He set off on a run .. Pope fielding was sensational, smart and quick ..
That has been a wicket and fair as long as cricket has been played

Let’s just go on and win the series now. Really annoyed me that we drew the last one in England even though we had already retained going into the last test. Been way too long since we won a series over there.

Nope, have seen it. Remember watching it last year. And thought deGrandholme you fool. Certainly was out just like Bairstow was out. It is similar in the sense that it was highly unusual but not a form of cheating. Last year even a few cricket scribes in the UK questioned if England has upheld the "spirit of the game"

Player's stupidity is not allowed for in the laws of cricket. Poms need to get that through their collective noodles

He set off to take a run
I don’t see any similarities WP .. maybe idiotic like Bairstow, but very different circumstances …

Bairstow had zero intention of taking a run

In saying that, I have zero problem with what Carey did .. Bairstow has tried it that many times it makes it carma he copped it .. combining that with the fact Broad is now apparently Mr “Spirit Of The Game”, when he’s one of the biggest dogs to have ever played

Makes it all the more hilarious

There's actually some video of Jonny doing the same thing in County cricket back in 2014.  :lol

He's hailed by the bloke interviewing him for his "brilliant stumping"

As you say Damo, karma has whacked Jonny, good  :clapping
