The St Kilda board has ratified Brett Ratten's appointment as the club's new senior coach.

Yeah I saw the news and I was wondering if he has a snowflakes chance in hell of getting that club to a premiership. I like the guy, he will be a good coach but will be under resourced and shoved this way and that. Will have to deal with idiots and politics. Unless he is willing this the to lay down the law on who they recruit and Chuck I feel he is domed. They more than any club need a no idiots policy.

Club has no money and they are clearly about to rebuild.
