Richmond's season in 3 words: "Where's the Airport?" - Kane Cornes

Every finals team's season summed up in three words

Today, let’s play the three word game for the 8 finalists.

I love this concept for so many reasons.

Very few words can some up almost any team and its situation. It forces you to focus in on what is really important. To cut through the spin.

Here we go with the AFL finals edition of the ‘three word game.’

Richmond - Where’s The Airport?

Hopefully the Richmond players have downloaded the latest version of Google maps because no doubt they have forgotten how to get to the Melbourne airport.

For the first time in over two months the Tigers will play a game away from the MCG.

In a neutral venue Richmond is a much better and finals hardened team than the young Lions. How much of a factor the raucous Brisbane crowd will be remains to be seen?

Dustin Martin enters this finals series in season best form and is capable of being the match winner again.

The winner of this game makes the Grand Final.

I remember beating Port Adelaide with a VFL team in Adelaide earlier in the year.
And you may not think I care for you

I like Danger, he’s just having a laugh. Cornes lacks relevance so I don’t really give a crap what he says
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

My bad! It slipped my mind that west coast finished 5th so they’re going to have to keep coming back to the G. Well anyway I hope Geelong goes down in straight sets and then we can go meme crazy with Chris Scott’s face

I agree. Both hopeless. Unless things change drastically I doubt they will make the gf.

I fear the Dogs the most and West Coke second, then GWS and the Lions in that order.

Think the Dogs match up well against us and they do well against our defensive structures.
The club that keeps giving.

If we can get through to the GF I'm confident of us beating anyone at the MCG 👍🏻
