Guernsey number changes [official]
« on: November 02, 2019, 04:08:18 PM »
With the list changes and retirements, we have a fair few low-number guernseys now free to go to a new home:

5, 6, 7, 16, 20, 21, 24, 30.

Who do you think we move 'up' and change their guernsey number for 2020?

You'd have to seriously consider whether anyone is worthy of #5. I'd consider Dusty moving into it but think it's probably best to retire it, at least for a few years.

I don't even know what number Lambert is but he's won 2 flags in it, doubt he is changing.

Lambert is 23. Very popular number. Won't change.

5 needs to go to a hard nut who can redeem it.

Naish wearing the 6 would be epic. I say save the #5 for balta if he fulfills his potential and takes over Rance’s mantle

The new kids usually are given 30+ numbered jumpers. Which would mean without others changing theirs:

30 - Dow
36 - Cumberland
37 - Martyn
49 - Ralphsmith
51 - Nyuon

Noah Cumberland on his instagram account has put "Richmond FC 🐯#38".

https://www.instagram.com/noahcumberlandd

So that would mean Balta is getting a new number for 2020.

Dow won't get Bourke's old number (to prestige's for a draftee), but I would consider giving it to Jack Graham.
