He's what 19? I've got a fair bit of patience with Hugo.

19 or 29 the truth is he has a lot of work to do on the defensive side of the game and the physical stakes.thats fine as people say he is just 19 but he has to at least try to be better in these areas.

He is an outside player with good pace and good disposal the thing is we want him to have some hurt factor in the outside role to offset the lack of physicality and defense. It has not really happened yet.

I think he has laid just two tackles all year and he looks great when he runs with the ball but he sure as hell has a lot of work to do on the less attractive aspects of the game.

In saying all that if he is fit for next week then i would be playing him if he struggles then it would probably be time to look at giving him a rest and go back to the twos for a short bit to work on what clearly needs work.

Huge difference between being 19 or 29!

Hugo Ralphsmith sustained three cracked ribs from a McAdam gut-punch. No review. No citing. No fine. No suspension. Richmond is governed as a separate entity. @AFL

Hugo just unlucky from a footy collision or should've the Crows player been at least cited?

In his first senior appearance since cracking three ribs during the Round 5 clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval, Ralphsmith was a lively performer, playing predominantly up forward.

He finished the match with 15 disposals, five inside-50s, two goals, five score involvements and 328 metres gained in a display that underlined his substantial football potential.

Ralphsmith is averaging 15.3 disposals, 3.2 marks and 268.0 metres gained at AFL level this season.
