We have so many we could cut from the list can't cut em all at once.

Would have given him one year with a performance clause for two.

Gotta say im still not sold despite some improvement. Still needs to improve a fair bit.

Hugo not a world beater but with his string of games has improved markedly.
Getting games into players is what we should be about and I think Hugo has really stepped up. Good on him.

Hugo Ralphsmith - 50th game this week
« Reply #273 on: August 20, 2024, 01:00:17 AM »
Hugo Ralphsmith has a strong claim for being Richmond’s most improved player in 2024.

He has thrived this season playing as a wingman, utilising his top-class pace and stamina in that role, along with impressive marking ability.

Ralphsmith, who is scheduled to play his 50th game of AFL football in Saturday’s final home-and-away round against Gold Coast at the MCG, is averaging 13.7 disposals, 3.9 marks, 2.9 inside-50s, 2.5 intercepts, 3.4 score involvements and 296.3 metres gained per match this season.

In yesterday’s clash with Hawthorn at the MCG, Ralphsmith again was a major positive for the Tigers.

He finished the match with 17 disposals, six marks, one goal, a team-high five inside-50s and 375 metres gained.

Gives that extra speed Hugo and still plenty of improving.

It’s great to see him back in the team and continuing that great form of last year .

Wouldn’t mind if he lost the mullet though.

He just gives that extra grunt that used to be missing a couple of years ago. I don’t think you can both him and kmac in the same side and expect to play finals
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

On going problem along with kicking imo. Not sold on either HRS or Banks fixing our wing problems.

Neither, they are temporary bandaids unless they magically find another level to go to.

Don't remember the last time we had a good wingman, bar Richo maybe.
