Home and away ladder (2010-2019)

POSITION - CLUB - MATCHES - WINS - LOSSES - DRAWS - %

#1 Geelong - 219 - 158 - 59 - 2 - 129.3% ............. 1 premiership (2011)

#2 Hawthorn - 220 - 152 - 66 - 2 - 127.2% ........... 3 premierships (2013, 2014, 2015)

#3 Sydney - 220 - 142 - 76 - 2 - 123.6% .............. 1 premiership (2012)

#5 West Coast - 220 - 131 - 88 - 1 - 114.1% ......... 1 premiership (2018)

#6 Richmond - 220 - 123 - 95 - 2 - 104.2% ........... 2 premierships (2017, 2019)

#7 Adelaide - 219 - 120 - 98 - 1 - 111.6%

#8 Fremantle - 220 - 114 - 105 - 1 - 97.5%

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#9 North Melb. - 220 - 112 - 108 - 0 - 103.9%

#10 Port Adel. - 220 - 103 - 116 - 1 - 98.7%

#11 W.Bulldogs - 220 - 103 - 117 - 0 - 94.9% ............ 1 premiership (2016)

#12 Essendon - 220 - 100 - 118 - 2 - 92.5%

#13 St Kilda - 220 - 90 - 126 - 4 - 91.1%

#14 Carlton - 220 - 80 - 138 - 2 - 89.4%

#15 GWS - 176 - 76 - 97 - 3 - 87.9%

#16 Melbourne - 220 - 74 - 144 - 2 - 84.0%

#17 Brisbane - 220 - 71 - 149 - 0 - 80.7%

#18 Gold Coast - 198 - 47 - 150 - 171.4%

If you are a Geelong supporter, you should be pretty pleased with your decade despite seeing just the one premiership. The Cats have been consistent performers over this period with the most home-and-away wins, finishing 2010-2019 as minor premiers. However this ladder doesn’t include the eight losses that have seen them bow out of finals series.

Hawthorn (2nd) are the big winners converting three premierships from their second placed finish while Richmond (6th) have two, their dominant past three seasons helping them cement a spot in the decade top-eight.

Geelong's H/A record might be No.1 over the decade but their finals record would be bottom 4.

Given we started the decade as the "worst team since Fitzroy" then it's not too bad to end up sixth by the end of it in terms of H/A wins.

However, we play footy to win premierships and we're one of only two clubs to have won multiple flags over the decade  :thumbsup

A resurgent Richmond improved its 10-year numbers with 56 victories from their last 74 games at a winning rate of 75%.

We're something like 40-5 (89%) at the 'G and 34-5 (87%) in our home games over the past 3 years.

Those 5 losses out of curiosity being:
R8 2017 vs Fremantle
R13 2017 vs Sydney
PF 2018 vs Collingwood
R2 2019 vs Collingwood
R12 2019 vs Geelong

I was at all of the home games and finals from 2017 - 2019 and I have to say it's been nice. That R2 game vs Collingwood, we were robbed hard. 25 frees to 9! Criminal!
