Preseason 2020 match 2: Richmond vs GWS @ Wagga Wagga

Broad down the line to Houli to Baker towards Jack at HF but he can't mark it and GWS clear.

Too easily rebound for another Giants goal. No pressure from us so far  .

We're playing like a preseason game. Just off. Nearly marks, nearly tap ons.

Houli to Caddy to Lambert inside 50 to Dusty 40m out but he plays on and the ball is smothered. We get it back and Caddy finds Soldo. He takes the set shot. Goal!

We get the centre clearance but GWS clear off HB. We're bombing it mostly again like last week.

Kelly hospital handpass to Whitfield and Floss nails him  .

Point to GWS.

Pooring defending allows Haynes to push forward and mark 45 out. Thankfully he kicks that one like a defender and it's OOTF.

We can't get it out of our D50 on repeated efforts and eventually the Giants kick a goal.

6 - 19

Another centre clearance and we can't find a marking again. Towards Jack at HF and off hands for a throw-in.

Dusty to Baker nice kick finds Pickett. Goes to the square and Lynch can't mark. Rushed for a point.

We get it back via CCJ who gets it long to the pocket. George front and square and snaps a good goal. One more than the GF  .

Another centre clearance to us via Prestia to 45 out. Jack cleverly taps it on to the voice of runners but it's a throw-in. GWS clear.

Houli nice kick down the line to Rioli. Goes long inside 50. Knocked away from George. He gathers it but the ball is smothered and it's a stoppage. Rioli over the shoulder handpass threads the ball through the eye of a needle to CCJ who goals  .

Prestia out of the middle to Rioli to Dusty but his 60m bomb misses.

CCJ....can play. Some great movement, nice ruckwork and a lovely snag there

Houli intercepts the poor GWS defensive kick and he finds George 20 out in the pocket. Misses the set shot.

21 - 19

Broad clears out of defence. GWS players spoil each other lol and it's a throw-in. Cotch to HF but GWS clear.

Soldo intercepts. To HF towards Jack but it's spoiled. Pickett runs down the DeBore but Rioli sprays his shot.

Well that's a few minutes of play both sides won't want to see again  .

We get it back and Rioli marks 40 out. He misses.

Inside 50s: 15 - 7

We should be a few goals up by now.

Another GWS turnover. Prestia to Pickett to Jack who smartly turns to fool Shaw and finds Lambert. Goal!

Rioli to Jack who slaps it on. Gets back to Jack to George who goes towards Rioli but turns it over.

GWS runs it up the ground for a goal against the run of play on the siren  .

Brain fade by Houli costs us a goal about 3 seconds after the end of the qtr

He'll be a great player we need to resign him asap. Id play him from R1 with soldo. Nank could be trade bait at seasons end.
