Who is our bogey team?
« on: March 03, 2020, 05:06:55 PM »
Herald-Sun has Adelaide as our bogey team.

Richmond    2-5 v Adelaide, last win Round 16, 2018

Meanwhile, we are the bogey team of 4 other clubs.

Brisbane  0-14 v Richmond, last win Round 7, 2009

Carlton       0-9 v Richmond, last win Elimination Final 2013

Essendon    0-9 v Richmond, last win Round 11, 2014

Hawthorn   2-5 v Richmond, last win Round 18, 2016

Brisbane hasn’t beaten Richmond since Daniel Bradshaw departed the Lions.

The Lions have the longest current losing streak against another club, having lost their past 14 matches against the Tigers dating back to 2010.

Brisbane’s last win over the reigning premiers came in Round 7, 2009 when Jonathan Brown (four goals) and Bradshaw (three goals) spearheaded the Lions to a 26-point win at the MCG.

Carlton has not beaten Richmond since Mick Malthouse’s first year in charge in 2013.

Essendon has not overcome the Tigers since Mark ‘Bomber’ Thompson was coach in 2014.
