Okay we've got the breeze in the last. Let's see if we can use it this time.

Campbell's been good today, but that was a poor choice to play on under pressure.

Tayla Stahl got smashed in a tackle but still managed to get up and put pressure on the kicker. Love her, another bright spot from this season.

Tiggies best and fairest would be Conti, Monahan, Campbell, Makur Chuot as the top four surely

Richmond has nine minutes to avoid recording the AFLW's lowest ever score of 7 points. Currently on 2 in a howling Moorabbin wind.

Richmond seem to just expect a handful of players to create opportunities that the rest can glide off.

They should be attempting to draw their opponents out of their F50 when entering to create some space, or moving to create options. They just assume Frederick is going to lead and get the contested mark v 3 defenders.

Really interesting contrast in list builds in the #AFLWSaintsTigers game. Tiges seemed to focus on a couple of top end players (Brennan, Conti, Fredrick), where as the Saints seem to have a more even list.

Another goal to the Saints against the breeze  :P.

Richmond records the AFLW's lowest ever score of three points. First side to fail to kick a goal, and against a fellow expansion side. Grim times at Punt Road

Quirky stat:

Richmond women are the first team in the V/AFL to go goalless since

... Richmond men (in 1961) also against St Kilda.

Never great to see a player coming off in tears. Mon Conti devastated.

No wonder she's crying when she has to carry most of the side on her back each and every week  :P.

this is a shameful episode in or clubs history. Hunter and Sheahan should resign or be sacked immediately. This list is embarrassing to our club and the brand of our club which is being devastated by the AFLW program.

Saints too strong for Tigers

By Sarah Black
AFL Media
14 March 2020 8pm

Richmond has fallen to St Kilda by 39 points at RSEA Park on Saturday.

The Saints were too strong all over the park, coping well in a howling wind at RSEA Park in the 6.6. (42) to 0.3 (3) loss.

Play was so heavily weighted to one area of the ground, the inside-50 count in both the first and second quarters read 11-1 to the club headquarters end.

St Kilda was very efficient in front of goal, with Saint Caitlin Greiser booting the first three goals of the match – including one from 20 metres out that sailed above the goalposts and nearly out of the ground – and taking three marks.

The Saints took a 13-point lead into the first break which was reduced to 11 points at half-time. But they used the wind advantage well in the third, adding 15 points.

Classy Richmond midfielder Monique Conti ran her heart out, finishing with a game-high 22 disposals to go with four tackles and four marks.

Rebounding defender Akec Makur Chuot was also a standout for the Tigers, racking up 13 touches.

ST KILDA        2.1     2.1     4.5     6.6    (42)
