I might be mistaken, but ive had a  view that whilst the game has gone past him, he remains the SMARTEST player we have got. I dont know him personally, but his demeanor on the field, his footy smarts, aggression etc. I reckon he's at the very least- an assistant coach in waiting. Considering where hes at, the changing face of footy the fact that we havent got a ruck division with any depth...what should we do with him.  I gotta say, I think at the very least when he retires Id put him on the club payroll in an assistant coach capacity with some specialist coaching of the rucks...im wondering whether or not ive read him right or am i wrong in thinking that hes actually a pretty switched on footy brain.

Hopefully Patto can fill Staffords hole and play a similar role.

As long as we pick up two quality talls (preferably Hansen and Reid) Wallace can go nuts and pick as many skilled runners as he wants
